Originally founded to help entrepreneurs connect with each other, the first annual meeting was in Jackson Hole, Wyoming located in the valley along the Tetons. After a successful launch, the company needed a name, with operations expanded to Silicon Valley, San Fernando Valley, and the Valley of the Sun. Having studied abroad in Spain and
Originally founded to help entrepreneurs connect with each other, the first annual meeting was in Jackson Hole, Wyoming located in the valley along the Tetons. After a successful launch, the company needed a name, with operations expanded to Silicon Valley, San Fernando Valley, and the Valley of the Sun. Having studied abroad in Spain and lived with a Portuguese family, in Spanish the term "vale" is a colloquial way to express agreement or understanding, can be used to refer to worth or value, and in Portuguese "vale" translates to "valley". Combining these meanings and personal experiences, the name Vale Ventures was born.
